Welcome to the blog of Ten Talents Capital. Here I hope to set down my thoughts about the markets, investing in general and anything else that piques my interest.
Although many funds still use quarterly or annual letters to communicate with clients (and the general public), it’s increasingly common for blogs to serve this function. I believe blogs tend to do the job much better: they are more timely, shorter (hopefully) and I can write on a wider range of topics and keep the tone informal and personal.
I hope to write as regularly as possible, perhaps even daily at times. But I’m under no illusions as to how difficult this can be when the pressures of life and work intrude.
As with most bloggers, I expect one day to look back on these posts with a mixture of pride and embarrassment. The passage of time humbles us all in the end. Anyone who invests for a living learns this lesson well.
So I hope readers will find something of value in the posts that follow. At the very least, I’m sure it will benefit me as a way to organize my thoughts or vent my feelings. Please feel free to comment on anything I write, or hurl abuse, within reason. I’m always happy to engage in vigorous debate.
